SkyComm started in 2010 with a straightforward idea: medical practices deserve IT support from people who actually understand healthcare technology. Not generic IT companies that treat a GP clinic the same as an accounting firm — but specialists who know the difference between Best Practice and Medical Director, who understand HL7 pathology feeds, and who can fix your Genie installation before your first patient arrives.
That focus hasn't changed. Over 15 years, we've built deep expertise across every major clinical platform used in Australian healthcare. We support GP clinics, specialist practices, dental surgeries, day surgery centres, hospitals, and allied health providers across Perth and regional Western Australia.
Today, SkyComm is a team of dedicated engineers led by founder David, operating from our Burswood office. We manage IT for 200+ businesses, resolve 15,000+ support tickets, and maintain a perfect 5-star Google rating — because in healthcare IT, "good enough" isn't good enough.

With 20+ years in IT and deep roots in Perth's medical community, David built SkyComm around a simple principle: healthcare practices need an IT partner who understands their world. He leads the technical team hands-on — you're as likely to find him debugging a Genie database at 7am as you are reviewing a network architecture plan.
David holds Certified Magentus Adviser status and has personally overseen hundreds of medical practice IT deployments across Western Australia. His philosophy: proactive beats reactive, security is non-negotiable, and every practice deserves the same level of care regardless of size.
