Configure agreed network equipment, Wi-Fi, firewalls and remote access for your clinic. We coordinate internet setup with your provider; availability and connection dates depend on that provider.
Clinical Software Setup
Install and configure agreed clinical software and coordinate with software vendors on supported connections. Your practice supplies the required licences, registrations and approvals.
IT Readiness Checklist
Review agreed access controls, backups, recovery arrangements and secure messaging. This supports your practice's preparation, but does not certify compliance or replace accreditation advice.

Your clinic's IT needs to suit its clinical software, consulting rooms and day-to-day workflows. We help you plan the network, equipment, access controls and backup arrangements, and coordinate the technical setup with your chosen software providers.
Depending on your quote, SkyComm can provide server or cloud configuration, workstation setup, printer and scanner setup, clinical software installation, phone-system setup and staff IT training. Hardware, software licences, subscriptions and ongoing support are specified in the agreed scope. Payment-terminal and internet connections depend on the relevant providers and approvals.
Cabling and contractor responsibilities
We can arrange cabling or coordinate with your chosen cabler and builder on data-point locations, power and equipment positioning. SkyComm does not carry out cabling, electrical or building work. Contractor services and costs are confirmed as part of project planning. We do not provide security-camera services.
Government & digital-health setup
SkyComm helps new practices prepare the technical environment for PRODA, HPOS, Medicare, NASH and My Health Record connections where included in the scope. Your clinicians and authorised practice representatives complete identity verification, registrations, approvals and credential actions in their own accounts.
We coordinate with your technology and software providers and test approved connections where access and approvals are available. Opening dates and government or vendor approvals are not guaranteed by SkyComm. Our IT readiness work supports your practice's preparation; it does not replace your accreditation, clinical governance or privacy responsibilities.
