Just got off the Microsoft office blog, in particular this page, it looks like we have a new office build to play with (Office 2016 Preview Update 2)… I have to say some of these new features are long over due.
Real-time typing in Word—Real-time typing is now in Word! You can see where others are working and what they are typing as they type it. To try this, save a document to OneDrive for Business and invite your colleagues to join you in a simultaneous authoring session
I know in my corporate life that there have been many many times where a team of people have all wanted to work on the same document at the same time. The only way in the past to really do this was using OneNote, (if you don’t know what this is then you really should look at it) then have to copy and paste in the end to the word document.
I recommend you download it and have a play this is the link if you are interested. Much like the office 365 download its a small download that then installs it in the background.
